An exchange year in the USA – questions and answers of Dr. Flojo
First of all, I would like to say thank you for inviting Dr Flojo. I found Dr. Flojo very personable, friendly and pretty. She answered our questions very well.I wish her happiness and health. Nilab N.
I liked that we were allowed to ask some questions about an exchange year . I think some people in our class would definitely do one.It was very interesting to learn about the lifestyle there. I think the questions about school were the most important questions for me because I would love to do acting classes or something like this. It was a very cool lesson because Dr.Flojo could answer us almost everything and understood that we were very curious. Marlene T.
It was very interesting to hear about schools in the USA.Dr. Flojo said she would recommend it to anyone as she had a very good experience.Because it’s different than in Germany.Schools in Germany are boring and it’s always the same. But in the USA you can chose your subjects and there are more free time activities. Dario K.
I found the lessons with Dr. Flojo fantastic. She answered all our questions very well.We understand everything very well. The lesson could have been longer. With this question lesson I can imagine now a lot more. Fabien N.
Dr. Flojo was very likable and left a wonderful impression on us. It was cool to hear what she had experienced in the USA and what her perspective on the whole thing was, or rather is.Personally I thought that one hour wasn’t enough time because we noticed that everyone was interested in it and we had more and more questions. The most interesting thing for me was when she said although it was her best year at school she never wanted to live there. Since somehow everyone has the idea of emigrating to the USA or living there for a certain period of time, it wa school to hear another point of view. Lina B.
In my opinion the English lesson of Tuesday was very good. I learned a lot of new things about American schools. For example, that the people at the schools are very open, so you can make really easy friends. Also, in American schools there are much more subjects than in the German schools and teachers help you faster than in the German ones. People there are also not so racist. I learned also that host families are traditional, for example at Christmas. But the traditions are much more different than the German ones. At Christmas in Germany, you can see the green branches of the Christmas tree. In the USA, you can’t see it, because the Americans use lots of decoration on her trees. Cedric P.
I found Tuesday’s lessons with Dr.Flojo very interesting and helpful. It was great that she answered our questions and also told us something about the USA.What I found most interesting was when she said that she had got a culture shock at Christmas because the whole tree was decorated.Dr.Flojo was very friendly and her pronunciation was really good.I think it was a great lesson with Dr.Flojo but it went by way too fast. Fidan M.
I think the lesson was really good. Dr. Flojo told us a lot about the US. She gave us a good impression about the time she had there and she was really well to understand. I got a lot of experience and I think if I could, I would do this exchange, too.Selina B. I found it very interesting how well Doctor Flojo could speak English after a year. The lesson was a lot of fun with Doctor Flojo. After hearing all this from her, I would definitely spend a year in the USA.I wish we could have another question and answer session with Doctor Flojo.I will still remember so much from Doctor Flojo’s year from the USA. Julien Mick R.
I found the lesson with Dr. Flojo very interesting. It was nice to get an insight into the year abroad. It was also very nice that she answered so many questions. Paul N.
I thought it was nice with Dr.Flojo.I was happy that it was someone else in the English lesson and it was a lot of fun.Dr. Flojo is a very likeable girl and super nice and I understood a bit.She explained it well if you didn’t understand it or translated it well if nobody understood it. Samantha B.
I liked it very much on Tuesday because: Dr.Flojo is a very amazing person and she was very kind! She explained and answered all of our questions in a way that was easy to understand! It wasn’t too loud and a very pleasant atmosphere!
We learned everything that interested us! It was cooler than a subject! Thank you very much for this hour! Mia C.
